Ideally situated right by the railway station, this inn is a great place to stay. The rooms are well presented and are very clean, although the bathroom in my room was ever so slightly dated this was by no means a distraction. The beds and pillows are very comfy. I can't comment on the food in the bar as we ate elsewhere. Would recommend!
Very comfortable room. Friendly staff and very helpful. Good evening food and breakfast.. Lots of useful extras at no extra cost. I can thoroughly recommend The Longboat Inn.

We had not visited for a while and found the new owners to be very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the pub and we really enjoyed our evening meal - vegetarian curry for me and fish and chips for my husband. All vegetables very fresh and fish very good. Would highly recommend - great pub.
Lovely looking pub, friendly staff. I had salmon which was over cooked as were the vegetables. Very disappointed in my meal. My partners zinger chicken burger was very nice though. So very hit or miss with the quality of the food.

I stayed at the Mount Haven Hotel with my friend this past weekend and took advantage of the 'Hooked on the Bay' special offer. We absolutely loved the hotel! The room was lovely and bright, the service was really friendly and helpful and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Our special offer included a 5 course tasting menu, lunch at the sister hotel, The Godolphin Arms in Marazion, as well as lunch at the Sail Loft on St Michael's Mount. Often, when you sign up for these sorts of offers, you have to expect a more restrictive menu or smaller portion sizes but we were absolutely blown away by the quality, choice and flavour of the food. It really was a wonderful visit and we are already working out when to come again!
Mount Haven is a great place to stay, the views from room 23 are stunning. On our arrival we met Tagan who showed us to our room and could not be any more helpful. We also met other staff Adelaide and the rest of the staff at breakfast, cannot remember their names but they were so polite and catered to our every need. 10/10 to the Chef breakfast was amazing, with a selection of cereals fresh fruit and lovely chilled juices as well as hot food. The full Cornish is excellent. We will certainly be recommending Mount Haven Hotel to our Family and friends. We will certainly be back for a longer stay the next time. So keep up the great work guys and we hope to see you soon. The tropical shower in the room is fantastic as well as the top quality vanity products. Scott & Caroline

This has to be the best place to eat in Penzance...actually the best place to eat in all of Cornwall. The food is amazing. I can highly reccomend the mushroom sizzler. The menu is very well priced and the food beautiful. The icing on the cake was the exceptional service from the staff. Thank you dolphin tavern.. I shall come again.
Only been in Penzance for two days and had our evening here both times the menu is fantastic plenty of choice the sizzling chicken is amazing,, only downside is there's so much to eat you've no room for a sweet. They have a great choice of drinks as well All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.

Very deceptive from the outside, looks small but goes back a long way. Beautiful little garden with outstanding views of the Mount!! I enjoyed a couple of cyders whilst my friend had Dead Mans Fingers rum and her partner had a local cornish lager. Lovely way to end the day looking out to the sunset!!
Outstanding food and service not to mention a nice view. Staff was great and the food was first rate in both presentation and taste. I had the Braised Blade of beef and it was tender and delicious. Ended with Sticky Toffee Pudding. Just wonderful.

The cottage has wonderful views of St Michaels mount and the sea. It is worth the stay just for that! The cottage also allows dogs, is wonderfully situated for the sea, shops and pubs and Malcolm, the owner left flowers, biscuits, tea and milk for us when we arrived and was just a wonderful host! The house is a little bit tired in places but this seems to add to the homely feel and we didn't feel too uncomfortable from having the dogs roaming about as I'm sure we would had it looked like a show home. There are also games and books there as well as guides for local walks and attractions, not a to mention two TV's, DVD player and WiFi.The garden is great. It's enclosed so we knew the dogs were safe, had very nice garden furniture so that we could relax out there and had more wonderful views of the mount from the garden wall. By the end of the first day we were already discussing where we would put our furniture when we moved in! I would highly recommend a stay there.

We had a wonderful attic room with nice view. Considering the location right next to the main street it was quiet. The breakfast tasted good and the owner and her staff were very friendly. The only annoying fact was that they seemed to be always super busy. The result was that it was too much to ask for opening the breakfast 30min before the actual breakfast time. A nice gesture to prepare some croissants for an early leave resulted in cold, aluminium packed croissants with nothing on them. That was unexpected. But if you play by the rules and you don’t want anything special it’s a great place to stay.
Excellent place, wonderful setting, great accommodation, & very welcoming owners

Stayed one night as part of our coastal walk. Had a lovely big bedroom, albeit with a tiny shower room. Having a sink in the room made it work alright. Good breakfast and friendly hosts (and dogs!). Michael phoned pro-actively a couple of times to check things on the booking.
Good value for money, wonderful position, just opposite St Michael's Mount and right in the middle of Marazion. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The food at breakfast was very good. You just need to laugh at Michael's bad jokes.
Higher Fore St, Marazion TR17 0BQ, UK – 01736 710308
Nice pub with lovely staff.
The place is absolutely fantastic. The room had ocean view. The owners is very gently and it helped with all my needs.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
Dove Meadows, Green Ln W, Marazion TR17 0HH, UK – 01736 710854
Immaculate camp site in a tranquil setting. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Could do with the men's showers upgrading but this did not spoil our stay. Great fish and chips on Thursday evening.
A fantastic location for this small independent campsite. Generous pitch size. Showers are 50p for 7mins. Cost was £35 and reflected the location over the facilities. WiFi available with spotty connection. Great stop for early or multi night stays due to the short walk to beach, St Michaels Mount and Marazion. We were provided chocks at no extra cost as the site is on a slight slope.
Gwallon Ln, Marazion TR17 0HL, UK – 01736 710605
Love this family friendly campsite. So so happy to have had the chance to go back again. Not to big nor small. All pitches have electric hookups now. Oh great views to be had on site to looking over fields - see photos. Facilities wise you have laundry room with washing machine, tumble drier (these require payment), iron and ironing board, washing up sinks plus a microwave - very helpful. Lovely showers, toilets etc,. That are all kept clean and fresh at least a couple of times a day.
A lovely camping site. Not too large and has a selection of small and large pitches as well as glamping and little holiday bungalows. Well maintained pool and an on site shop open daily, stocked with essentials. The showers and toilet facilities are also well kept (the showers in particular are wonderful!) and the offer a choice of board games and books (free of charge) to entertain the children. All in all, a wonderful weeks break.

We are looking forward to camping again in August it poured with rain last year and was our first visit to this campsite . we couldn’t have been made more welcome .Great to have firewood provided and be able to Cook and sit around an open fire . All that camping should be about . Tesco’s nearby and a short walk into Penzance to the pub if you like that sort of thing! A great place for us friends to hang out and explore the diving from Penzance
We loved our stay at the Ponsandane campsite! It it nicely situated near the sea, on walking distance (along the sea) from Penzance and just a very short walk away from Tesco. The site looks nice and green as it is surrounded by trees. The walk to Marazion and St Michaels Mount is also lovely for the more enthusiastic walkers amongst us. The camp owner Roger manages the campsite very well. He made us feel very welcome and is always there if you need something.
